| Cape Verde hosts African zone II handball tournament | ||||

Cape Verde will host the African zone II women’s handball tournament, following a decision by the Executive Committee of the African Handball Confederation. The tournament will count for qualifications for the African Challenge Today tournament. All indications are that the tournament will be held in April 2010, with the participation of eight countries from Africa’s zone II, which encompasses Cape Verde, Senegal, the Gambia, Mali, Guinea Bissau, Sierra Leone and Mauritania. |
