Although it is unknown to many fans, soccer-loving Cape Verdeans can now follow the news about their national soccer team on the Internet. FIFA has made a page available on its website dedicated to the Cape Verdean national selection, coached by João de Deus. The page gives web surfers all of the team’s recent results, as well as the dates and locations of upcoming matches and the monthly performance of Cape Verde on the FIFA international ranking. Another feature of the Cape Verdean virtual space is the classification of the National Soccer Championship, including scores and the performance of each team.
