| Mayra Andrade’s second album goes gold in Portugal | ||||

The CD Stória, Stória… by Cape Verdean singer Mayra Andrade is already a gold record in Portugal after having remained at the top of the most often-played songs on the country’s radio stations for nine consecutive weeks. Galvanized by the success of her second album, Mayra will perform a concert on Wednesday, August 12 at the Fábrica Balsense in Tavira, in Portugal’s southern Algarve region. The concert is being anxiously awaited by the public in the region, according to the local press. Between September 10 and 16, meanwhile, Mayra will perform five concerts in her native Cape Verde – São Vicente, Boa Vista, Sal, Assomada and Praia. |
