| The lineup for this year’s edition of the Santa Maria festival has been announced. On its twentieth anniversary, the event hopes to pay homage to the island that has made it all possible, with the theme “20 years of success – a tribute to Sal.”

| The 22nd edition of the Curraletes festival takes place next weekend on the island of Santo Antão. In a change from previous years, the event will last only two days. Senegal-born Cape Verdean artist Boy G Mendes will be the main headliner at this year’s edition of the festival.
