Luxembourg increases financial support to Cape Verde to € 60 million

The financial support to be provided by the government of Luxembourg for its Indicative Cooperation Program with Cape Verde for the 2011-2015 period will total 60 million euros.

Portuguese President Aníbal Cavaco Silva will make an official visit to Cape Verde in July following Cape Verdean Prime Minister José Maria Neves’ trip to Portugal in June. According to Portugal’s ambassador to Praia, Graça Andresen Guimarães, relations between the two countries are at one of their “best moments ever.”
