Luandas Governor And Cape-Verdes Ambassador Analyse Cooperation

The ambassador of Cape-Verde to Angola, Silvino da Luz, had a meeting on Tuesday with the Governor of Luanda, Simão Paulo, in which it was discussed the possibility of strengthening the friendship ties and bilateral relations on cooperation.

At the end of the audience, Silvino da Luz said to the Press that he spoke to Governor of Luanda about a possible "Twinning" between the cities of Praia (Cape-Verd) and Luanda, which he hopes may happen soon.

"There is political will in favour of Twinned cities", said the ambassador.

Silvino da Luz also informed that his country is to send a delegation of entrepreneurs, dealing in construction and estate agent',s, aiming at surveying the Angolan market for future investiments. They have also spoken about the need for the Luanda Provincial Government to support local artists, such as the singer Patricia Faria who will participate, this month, in the Baía das Gatas Festival, taking place in Cape-Verd.
